Here is Olivia in the kitchen making sugar cookies for the holiday this past Nov. She had lots of fun decorating them as well. She indulged herself in a large spoonful of blue frosting BEFORE it went on the cookie.........guess which one is all hers! I made two batches that day and was wondering why I was still frosting the cookies until 9:30 that evening. One batch next year will definitely be sufficient.

Baking 101

MY LITTLE ARTIST
Olivia would spend ALL day painting
and creating with play dough if I let her. When I tell her to go and get the Art Center she starts doing this silly dance where she sways side to side walking and singing to herself along the way. She especially LOVES painting with her fingers and the messier the better. However, once it ends up in the hair we are "all done" as Olivia would say. We purchased a roll of cork to hang on the wall to display all her artwork at home and from school. Play dough was really thinking when they developed this play table station. You can get so creative with all the stamps and molds they have provided. We especially like to make hair or sketti as Olivia would say. She is saying CHEESE excitedly as I snapped this picture of her today.
I have once again enjoyed reading all your blogs. What a nice surprise to see Gwen and Nikki's blog as well. Great job ladies! Even though our families are scattered across the US this is such a great way to stay connected to our adoptive families and really gain support from one another. Thank you all for your friendship and inviting us to share in your family's journey.
Pam and Verna, I know that you are both anxiously awaiting news in regards to the COP list that just came out and the decisions that will be reached shortly. May God strengthen you during this time and uplift you both.
Nikki, I love seeing Lilly's dancing this morning. Lilly seems to have the same silly personality that Olivia does. It will be so much fun to get all the girls together in July as we are hoping to come. I am so looking forward to it!
